Favourite character.
One of my favourite characters is Elena Gilbert. She is an ordinary girl. She is quite clever, honest, faithful and very cheerful. But everything changes afer her parent's perdition. Of course, she says that she is okay and she feels better but she never really thinks this way. Next great alterations appear when she meets Stefan. She falls in love with him. Stefan dotes Elena immediately. Everything could be perfect...but it isn't. During all series Elena has to do extremal difficult desicions. Every desicion she makes, basing on altruism. She firmly believes that in every person, even in the most hard-hearted, she can find something a bit humanity. Frequently this streak helps Elena to get on with really callous murderer and save someone's life. For example, Damon Salvator. He haven't done anything favourable to Elena, but she always protects his life and compassionates him. And even if he doesen't shows his emotions, Elena is sure – her words don't go past Damon's soul. Also we can talk about Stefan Salvator. In inspite of his love, there are some moments when he really hurts Elena. But she invariably convinced that he doesen't want to hurt her. When Stefan gives up and wants to finish his existance Elena tries to convince Stefan that he is wrong and he deserves this life. She is really high-minded. Elena is sure of everyone can change and could be kind, when all despair of this. And this is the way she is. And it wouldn't change.

Character, who is the most similar to me.
If talking honestly, immediately I understood that the most similar charatcer to me is Caroline Forbes. She is not central character but she is interesting. Her lifestory is interesting, full of dissapionts and quarrels. We have different lifestories, common things are our natures. Caroline is a bit infant, very garrulous, naive etc. Very often she does mistakes, 'cause she is too unsuspecting. But when she understands that, she tries not to repeat it and, of course ,not always susccesfull. But ,at least ,she tries to learn by her mistakes. Once she understands that she is enternal "number two". She sees that in her boyfriend's heart majority of space is wasted by Elena Gilbert, his Ex. She tries to change it, but majority of her attempts are failure. Aslo she observes that Elena and Bonny, her best friends, means so much more to each other, than Caroline. They have secrets from Caroline, and it makes she freaking out. She always deduces and very often she does it wrong. As time goes by, she realizes that she is empty inside and she's just wasting space. But than everything have changed again. And her conclusions change, too. I esteem that every time when she falls down, she doesen't stop trying to stand up. She never gives up. And I'm trying to do the same.)
