Listen to me when I’m happy as well as desperate.
Give meadvice and merciless critics about my dreadful character.
Set a
chase after me when I go to some party place and follow me there to convince I’m
not having fun without you.
Send me
texts at 4 a.m. asking how my master’s paper ‘s doing.
Bring me
your empty bags to get them filled by my self-made roast turkey and pastries.
Swear me
down when I get far too tough.
Kiss me
when I’m sober and hide me when I’m drunk.
Tell me
if my armpits are getting wet or if a piece of food gets stuck in my front
teeth.
When I look
suspiciously quiet come up and give me a substantial hug.
Scare me,
pop out of the corner, roaring and grasping my head.
Make the
most doltish jokes of me and with me – and laugh madly until I start laughing
too.
Be sure of
me, ‘cause I’ll never let you down.
Trust me,
for I’ll never betray you.
Be my
friend, since I’m already yours.
